Experience New England Through Art Prints

In my artistry and photography, I strive to inspire, encourage and uplift people through beauty and symbolic imagery as each of us navigate, build, grow, journey and enjoy our unique roadmaps to this sometimes challenging yet always beautiful gift of life.

As a New England Photographer based in Providence, Rhode Island, I consider myself extremely fortunate to be surrounded by this region's dynamic natural wonders and incredibly fascinating textured history.  Throughout my travels in the region, I remain in constant admiration of its ever-evolving climate with each passing season.  Never entirely predictable, but always remarkable as it yearns to be revealed. New England's layered tapestry is a place to find inspiration, healing, rejuvenation and peaceful tranquility in its many forms of beauty. 

In addition to my love of lighthouses, my favorite beacon of light, and one of my great teachers on the art of living, is my beautifully handsome, sensitive, humorous and highly intelligent twelve-year-old son who also shares an unbridled enthusiasm and wanderlust for life's beauty, both grand and understated.  As a single mom and son family, we have faced our share of difficult challenges, but we have also embraced life with zest and have road-tripped to many parts of the United States with highlighted tent camping adventures in the Great National Parks, while also making fun mom-and-son TikTok dance videos on rainy Saturday afternoons at home. Finding balance in all aspects of life is key. 

Other than being mom & photographer, my passions include children's rights advocacy, especially within the mental health care and educational systems with more attention needed for individualized focused care.  While supporting and advocating for my son's needs, connecting with other parents, families and organizations has enlightened me to the realities and challenges of our system of care for our most vulnerable children in this country.  

I'm also a bicyclist, and when New England's cold winters keep me homebound, you can find me on the many gorgeous bike trails throughout Rhode Island.  Bicycling has been part of my decision to living a healthier, more fulfilling life and empowered my weight loss journey of losing 100 lbs. the natural way.  Three years later, I've kept the weight off with more energy than ever before. 

As an artist I am drawn to all forms of illumination and inspiration as light reveals a new perspective and is also needed for picture taking.   I also see photography as a medium for storytelling and love the challenge of photographing familiar landmarks and lighthouses in a new way to tell an original story.   I am also an avid believer photography is meant to be organically and personally experienced.  My hope is for you to have your own meaningful connections with each tangible art print purchased.
